Role: Graphic Designer + Producer
What A World: A catalog of environment concept art pieces
Despite growing up on a farm, the environment was of little interest to me; however, as I’ve grown older and experienced more, it’s become something I hold dearly. My generation and those after will bear the burden of the mistreatment of the environment by previous generations.
Water is only one part of what is not being properly preserved and conserved, and more attention needs to be brought to it. This catalog is a way to bring awareness to our water problems and what our future could look like through the use of environment concept art.
In the process of designing this catalog, I leaned into worldbuilding methodologies to explore what a world might look like should we or should we not take care of it. The catalog explores those possibilities from a chronological order: the beginning depicts worlds lush with life and water transitioning over time to worlds barren and devoid of life.
